What is non-sticky bonus?
Definition and example from our casino glossary.
Definition
A non-sticky bonus keeps your real money separate and plays it first, so real-money winnings can be withdrawn before the bonus is touched.
With a non-sticky bonus, often marketed as a hybrid or forfeitable bonus, the casino holds two balances. Your deposit is used first. If that balance grows to a level you are happy with, you can usually withdraw it and give up the bonus, with no wagering applied to the real money. Only once the real balance is used up does the bonus balance come into play, and from then on wagering, the max bet rule and other conditions apply. This structure gives players more flexibility than a sticky bonus, but it does not change the odds of any game. Terms vary: some casinos still apply wagering to the deposit, and some block withdrawals while any bonus is active unless you cancel it explicitly. Read the order of play and the forfeiture rules, and check in the cashier how each balance is displayed before staking.
