MoE / SRC licensed casinos

What the Ministry of Economy of Armenia (licensing) / State Revenue Committee (supervision) licence means for players, how to check it in the official register, and every casino in our database that holds it.

Tier 2

Short answer

In Armenia, online casino games, slots, poker and sports betting are legal only on sites licensed in the country. Licences are issued by the Ministry of Economy, while the State Revenue Committee supervises compliance.

About the Ministry of Economy of Armenia (licensing) / State Revenue Committee (supervision)

Licensed sites must run on an Armenian '.am' domain, use certified software and accept deposits and pay winnings only through the player's own Armenian bank or card account in drams. Foreign gambling sites without an Armenian licence are banned and blocked, and banks are required to stop payments to them. The minimum age is 21 for casino games and betting. Every licensed site must display a self-exclusion button on each page, and using it bars the player from all licensed sites for five years. Slot games must return at least 90% of stakes over time. A new gaming law that takes effect in stages also lets players take unresolved complaints to the State Revenue Committee and adds an upper age limit for casino play. Players should first raise problems with the operator.
