ÚRHH licensed casinos

What the Gambling Regulatory Authority (Úrad pre reguláciu hazardných hier) licence means for players, how to check it in the official register, and every casino in our database that holds it.

Tier 2

Short answer

The Gambling Regulatory Authority is Slovakia's state regulator for gambling under the Gambling Act No. 30/2019, which opened the online market to licensed domestic and EU operators. Online casino games and betting are legal only on websites licensed by the authority.

About the Gambling Regulatory Authority (Úrad pre reguláciu hazardných hier)

It publishes a downloadable list of legal gambling websites, and players should check that a site's address appears on it. Unlicensed sites must be blocked, and internet and mobile providers that fail to block them can be fined heavily. The authority also runs the Register of Excluded Persons. Licensed operators must check this register, which includes people who asked to be excluded as well as certain groups barred by law. A free information line is available for questions about the register. Players must be at least 18. Problems with a licensed site should first be raised with the operator. The authority's own complaints page deals with complaints about public administration, so players with an unresolved dispute should contact the authority directly as the supervisor of licensed operators.
