FURS licensed casinos
What the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia (gambling supervision) licence means for players, how to check it in the official register, and every casino in our database that holds it.
Short answer
Slovenia regulates gambling under its Gaming Act, and the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia supervises the sector. The market is closed to foreign operators.
About the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia (gambling supervision)
Online casino games, sports betting, poker and lotteries may be offered only through a Slovenian concession, which in practice limits online play to a handful of domestic casino concessionaires and the state-linked lottery operators. International sites that offer games to Slovenian players without such a concession are operating illegally, and according to available sources they are placed on a list of sites that internet providers must block. Players who use these sites have no legal recourse if their funds are withheld. Players must be at least 18, and licensed operators must provide warnings about gambling risks and information on self-exclusion. Licensed Slovenian sites carry out transactions in euros, so a site that pushes other currencies or crypto is a warning sign. Complaints should go to the operator first and can reportedly be escalated to the Financial Administration.

| How to check a licence | Online casino games may be offered only by Slovenian concession holders. A public FURS list of licensed online sites was not located during this research; check that the site belongs to a Slovenian concessionaire and transacts in euros. |
| Complaints / ADR | Complain to the licensed operator's customer service first. Secondary sources say an unresolved complaint can be filed with FURS; not verified on an official page. |
| Player protection | Minimum age 18. Self-exclusion ('samoizključitev') is handled through the licensed operators (per secondary source). FURS maintains a list of unauthorised gambling sites that internet providers must block (per earlier secondary research). |
