What is no deposit bonus?
Definition and example from our casino glossary.
Definition
A no deposit bonus is a small credit or set of free spins given without requiring a payment, usually with strict wagering and cashout limits.
No deposit bonuses let a new customer try a casino with funds the casino provides, after registration and often after identity checks. Amounts are small, and the terms are typically the tightest of any promotion: high wagering, a low max cashout, a short expiry and a limited choice of games. Many casinos also require a deposit before the first withdrawal so that a payment method can be verified. The expected value is low: with standard slot RTPs, most no deposit balances are lost before wagering ends, and the cashout cap limits the rare outcome where they are not. The real use is informational. It shows how the site works, how support responds and how verification is handled, without spending your own money. Treat it as a trial rather than income, and do not let it lead to a deposit you had not planned.
