What the Delaware State Lottery (iGaming) licence means for players, how to check it in the official register, and every casino in our database that holds it.
Short answer
In Delaware, online casino games are run under the authority of the Delaware State Lottery, which was one of the first in the United States to launch a state-authorised online gaming system. Unlike states with an open market, Delaware uses a lottery-led model: the only legal online casino sites are those operated for the state's three casinos, Delaware Park, Bally's Dover and Harrington, on a shared technology platform.
The Lottery's website links to these three sites, so players can easily check whether a site is legitimate. Players must be at least 21 and physically located in Delaware. The Lottery's Self-Exclusion Program allows people to bar themselves from all gaming at the three casinos and on their online sites, as well as from the Lottery's own gaming and sports app. Enrolment is arranged through the Lottery office. Detailed rules for internet games are published in the state's official regulations. A specific complaint procedure for online players was not confirmed, so disputes should first be raised with the casino operating the site.
