RI Lottery licensed casinos

What the Rhode Island Lottery (Division of Lotteries) licence means for players, how to check it in the official register, and every casino in our database that holds it.

Tier 2

Short answer

In Rhode Island, online casino gaming is run under the authority of the Rhode Island Lottery, a state agency that also operates traditional lottery games, oversees video lottery and table games at the state's two casinos, and runs sports betting. The market follows a monopoly model.

About the Rhode Island Lottery (Division of Lotteries)

According to available sources, the only legal online casino is a single brand operated with Bally's, the company that runs both of the state's casinos, and the only legal sportsbook is the state's own platform. Any other online casino brand serving Rhode Island is not authorised. Players must be at least 21 for casino games and must be located in the state. The Lottery's interactive platform applies a systemwide deposit limit set by regulation, and players can set a timeout or exclude themselves, including permanently, from their account or by calling player support. A specific complaint procedure for online casino players was not confirmed during this research, so disputes should first be raised with the operator and then with the Lottery.
