In the Czech Republic, gambling, including online casino games, is regulated by the Ministry of Finance. The ministry grants permits to operators, and customs and financial authorities carry out supervision.

Licensed operators must hold a Czech permit, and their websites are approved by the ministry. The ministry also maintains a public list of unpermitted internet games. Czech internet service providers must block the sites on it, and the list is updated frequently as new illegal sites are found. The customs administration regularly warns the public about illegal online casinos that target Czech players. The ministry has published lists of the web addresses of legal operators. However, the version found during this research is several years out of date, so players should look for a current list on the ministry's website or check the operator's permit details. A dedicated dispute resolution service for gambling could not be confirmed. Problems with a licensed operator should be raised with the operator first and then with the ministry.
