The Inspection also fights illegal online gambling. It orders internet service providers to block unlicensed gambling domains and has tightened oversight of payment processors to cut off deposits to unlicensed sites. Players who want to check an operator should look for it on the list of licensed organisers published by the Inspection. Because Latvia's licensed market is small and closely supervised, the main risk for players comes from foreign sites without a Latvian licence, which offer no local protection.
