The 177 casinos listed for Central African Republic hold mainly these licences: Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission (55), Malta Gaming Authority (44), Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority (gaming licences) (44). The payment methods they name most often are Visa (115), Mastercard (109), Skrill (106), Neteller (93), Bank Transfer (SEPA / SWIFT) (89). A live casino is available at 162 of these sites; 106 take crypto payments. The average rating of these casinos is 6.9 out of 10.
The Central African Republic has very little gambling law in the public domain. We found no published statute on online gambling, no online licensing scheme and no online gambling regulator. Gambling is supervised by the Ministry of Territorial Administration, Decentralisation and Local Development, which oversees licensed land-based casinos and betting outlets. Reports say regulation of the sector began around 2018, but we found no law or decree number for it.
The most recent official step concerns payments rather than games. A ministerial order of 31 August 2025 gave the payment company PayMeTrust a concession to build and run a national platform for the money flows of licensed gambling establishments, covering deposits, withdrawals and payouts. Under the order, top-ups and withdrawals from bettors' accounts across the country are to run through this one platform. This lets the State see the turnover of licensed operators, but it does not create a licence for online casino games.
No law licenses or prohibits online casinos, so play on foreign sites happens in an unregulated grey market.
No Central African body supervises online casinos, so a dispute with a foreign site can only be raised with that site's own regulator. Use the operator's own deposit limits and self-exclusion tools where offered.
