Lebanon licenses online casinos through the Ministry of Finance (Casino du Liban exclusive gaming concession; online platform BetArabia). Locally licensed casinos are listed first and marked; every entry shows its licence and whether it accepts players from Lebanon.
The 175 casinos listed for Lebanon hold mainly these licences: Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission (53), Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority (gaming licences) (44), Malta Gaming Authority (40). Most frequently listed payment methods: Visa (115), Mastercard (109), Skrill (105), Neteller (92), Bank Transfer (SEPA / SWIFT) (91). 159 of them offer a live casino and 108 accept cryptocurrency. The average rating of these casinos is 6.9 out of 10.
Legal situation in Lebanon
Lebanon allows gambling only within a single state concession. The gambling law of 4 August 1954 reserved licensed gaming for one casino on the coast, and Law No. 417 of 15 May 1995 gave Casino du Liban in Maameltein the exclusive right to operate gambling games, under a contract signed with the Ministers of Finance and Tourism. The state takes a rising share of gross gaming revenue, and a supervisory committee including the Directors General of Finance and Tourism oversees the casino. The 1954 law bars people under 21, civil servants and residents below a set income threshold from the gaming halls.
Online gambling follows the same monopoly model. Casino du Liban launched the BetArabia platform in November 2022 under a licence issued by the Ministry of Finance, and the platform offers sports betting, online casino, live casino and poker to players in Lebanon. Day-to-day operations were contracted out to the service company Onlive Support Services (OSS). The law does not provide for further licences, so other domestic or foreign websites have no legal basis to serve Lebanese players, and trade press reports that the state blocks unauthorised platforms.
Online casino play is legal only on BetArabia, the Ministry of Finance-licensed platform of Casino du Liban; all other sites are unauthorised.
The only licensed online option is BetArabia, run for Casino du Liban; other gambling sites have no Lebanese licence. Because Casino du Liban's concession was due to end in 2026, check for official announcements on its renewal.
