Apple Pay casinos

How deposits and withdrawals with Apple Pay work at online casinos, what they cost, and which casinos in our database accept it.

Short answer

Apple Pay is Apple's mobile wallet for iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac. It does not hold money itself.

How Apple Pay works at casinos

It stores your bank cards in Apple Wallet and pays with them, using a device-specific token in place of the card number, so the casino never receives your real card details. A deposit takes a few seconds: choose Apple Pay at the cashier, confirm with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode, and the funds are credited instantly. Because the payment is technically a card transaction, card rules apply. In Great Britain, for example, only debit cards can be used for gambling. Most casinos treat Apple Pay as deposit-only and pay winnings to the underlying debit card or a bank account, although a few offer Apple Pay withdrawals. It is common at regulated operators in the UK and the US.

Casino policyApple Pay processes the payment as a card transaction using the card stored in Apple Wallet, so card rules apply. At UK casinos only debit cards can be used (credit cards are banned for gambling). Apple Pay is mostly deposit-only, with a small number of operators offering payouts. It is available at major US regulated casino brands.
VerificationThe underlying card must be in the player's name; device biometrics authenticate each payment.
